Model a possible FY27 City of Lakeway tax rate (per $100)

The City hasn’t set its FY27 rate yet; it would apply to your 2026 value. Slide or type any rate to see the effect. FY26 rate $0.1696 = $0.1171 M&O + $0.0526 debt (I&S); for FY27 the debt (I&S) rate rises to $0.0542. The 3.5% cap applies to M&O only, with the debt rate added on top.

How to read this. Each amount is a parcel’s taxable value for that entity (exemptions differ by entity) times the entity’s adopted rate. The 2025 bill uses real certified values and each entity’s adopted 2025 (tax-year) rate. The FY27 rate impact tab uses the certified 2026 values; the City adopts its actual FY27 rate in the fall. No-new-revenue is the rate that would raise the same total City revenue on this year’s tax base as last year. A rate above it is an effective increase. The no-new-revenue ($0.16701) and voter-approval ($0.1733) rates shown are the official figures from the City’s Truth-in-Taxation Taxpayer Impact Statement for its August 3, 2026 Council meeting. Only the City of Lakeway rate is adjustable; other entities set their own. Amounts don’t model over-65 or disabled tax ceilings. Informational only. Your official bill comes from the Travis County Tax Office.
